Ok... so I got that lucky shot at getting into a bar and I work three shifts a week. I am about three weeks in.. so I would feel dumb having to ask my boss this question.

Ok when making a Kamakazi(on the rocks) I am wondering am I supposed to charge extra for the triple sec and lime juice or do I just adjust the portions of the drink down to a ounce?
Our well drinks are $2.50 so if I was to add triple sec would that change the price?

I am going to ask my manager(who wasn't the one who trained me I was trained by a guy who wasn't completely aware of everything himself) to go over how to price mixed drinks. I basically shadowed him for two days for 5 hours and he didn't have to make any mixed drink except a bloody mary(which I had down right away) so I didn't really get trained on the pricing of a mixed drink.

I am so afraid of losing my job. I think they like me, I am a attractive 25 year old well endowed blonde and I have already got customers seeing me from the street walking in and staying for hours, and all the regulars tell me I am doing a great job. I keep a upbeat personality, I attempt to upsell, I pay attention to peoples drinks getting low.

The bar I work at is slow but my Saturday day shift can be busy and my boss did say she was concerned about if I could be fast enough. I have anxiety major but I am just going to do my best.

I am the type of person who tries to do everything perfect at work PERFECT, and tending bar has been the only job I haven't been able to figure out immediately. I am actually afraid to express my concerns to my very nice bosses because I don't want to lose my job.

Also... is it normal for bartenders to drink at work, my manager said it was ok for a customer to buy me one drink, the other night I had a couple shots with some customers they were 1/3 ounce vodka 1/3 peach schnapp.. so I figured more then once only equaled like a ounce. I raely drink though so it gave me a buzz and that was last satuday right before I got slammed so I guess I feel really guilty for being buzzed on my first rush. But when my manager took over for me the other day she had two drinks before her shift so I should just get over it.

Sorry for all the rambling. I am making great money, having a lot of fun, and I just don't want to lose my job.
